It was one of those type [of] things.   Sean s great grandfather, Josh Gibson, was considered one of the the best players in the history of the Negro Leagues. He died in 1947, months before Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier in the MLB, but his legacy lives on. The hall of fame catcher holds a career batting average of .354 and hit 962 home runs – 200 more than Barry Bonds MLB record, according to Negro Leagues historian James A. Riley.
