Members of the post also offered 100 birthday cards and Butler was scheduled to receive a phone call from President Donald Trump, congratulating him on his birthday and for being one of the oldest surviving wounded veterans of World War II. Services are pending for Arlen Jay Butler, 100, who resided in the Cash community just south of Greenville. Butler was reported to have died Monday.
