Wednesday will see more storms, rain
Storms stay in forecast through Thursday
Much of the region will remain under a Flash Flood Watch until 7 a.m. Thursday
Earlier watches and warnings in the Wichita Falls area were allowed to expire.
The rain resulted from strong thunderstorms that moved into the region Tuesday afternoon and rumbled through the night. They’re expected to continue through Wednesday and into Thursday.
The National Weather Service said some locations in the storms’ paths had received up to three inches of rain.
The SPC has placed an area from northeast Oklahoma to the Texas Big Bend at Slight Risk for severe storms on Wednesday. The greatest threat will be large hail, strong winds and occasional heavy rain.
