Beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, March 15, and continuing through 5 p.m. on Monday, March 22, East Saline Street is scheduled to be closed from Mill Street to just west of Albright Court while the City of Sedalia Industrial Rail Spur is constructed across the roadway.
The city says as part of the project, a new at-grade rail crossing is being installed across East Saline Street.
Travelers in the area will need to plan for alternate routes during this period as East Saline Street will be closed to all traffic.
This work is weather and equipment dependent, and the reopening date may be affected by inclement weather or equipment breakdowns.
Portion of East Saline To Be Closed For Rail Spur Work
On Monday, Mar. 15 beginning at 7 a.m. and continuing through Monday, March 22 at 5 p.m., East Saline Street will be closed from Mill Street to just west of Albright Court while the City of Sedalia Industrial Rail Spur is constructed across the roadway.
As part of the project, a new at grade rail crossing is being installed across East Saline Street.

The City apologized for any inconvenience the road closure may cause as they work to improve the transportation services in the area.
