Rochester school officials announced Thursday night the Nancy Loud School, expected to accommodate 88 students in grades K-4 this fall, will close “immediately and permanently” due to structural safety concerns.

ROCHESTER HRCU is bringing financial literacy education to more than 1,500 elementary students in the Rochester and Strafford school districts. Students at 8 Rochester elementary schools and 1 Strafford elementary school will now have free access to Banzai, an award-winning online program and content library that allows students to practice real-world finance using any internet-enabled device.
Through the Banzai online courses, students try out managing a budget, saving for a goal, and dealing with unexpected financial pitfalls. Teachers can easily monitor and grade student progress in the classroom or remotely.
