but a strong tornado that is on the ground for a long period of time. long track tornado and typically those are the most deadly and destructive we have in the country. here s a map i don t show all that often. this is the tornado threat map. what we re looking at on this map here is the hatched areas. this is where we have the best possibility of significant tornadoes. this is the fujida scale. it goes from the ef-0 to ef-5. they devastate the landscape and only leave the foundations. the odds of the strongest tornadoes is greatest in the hatched areas. east of nashville, huntsville and georgia border. this whole section of central georgia. the bull s eye being on macon, georgia. they re getting ready to play at the master s. the way this map works is it s the probability of a tornado
