Officers on scene were assisted by the Grand Forks Fire Department, Altru paramedics, East Grand Forks Fire Department and East Grand Forks. No criminal charges are being sought, and the Grand Forks Police Department said there is no threat to the public.

Some locations throughout the area, including Crookston, Minnesota, may approach record floods in the coming days, the National Weather Service’s Greg Gust said. Additionally, many county roads around the area are either flooded over or washed out.
