Two people from Sydney s west have been fined for allegedly breaking coronavirus restrictions on the Northern Beaches, where a cluster outbreak has shut Greater Sydney out from other states and territories.
NSW Police yesterday afternoon intercepted a man, 60, and woman, 39, on Manly s East Esplanade, and issued them infringement notices for allegedly travelling into the locked down region.
The Padstow man and Bankstown woman did not have a lawful excuse or exemption for being in the Northern Beaches, police said.
