GUWAHATI: Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, Assam Sanjay Bahadur will cover a 1,000 km-long solo bicycle journey across the State under a programme organized by the India Tourism, North East.
The solo cycle ride, titled as – 1000 Bar Dekho- North East Dekho, will aim to highlight the magnificence of the North East. The 10-day long journey will take place from March 7 to March 17.
The ride will begin from Lachit Ghat here on the banks of the Brahmaputra River.
Addressing the media, Bahadur said, The Northeastern region is a paradise which is unexplored till now. This solo cycle ride will be a tribute to river Brahmaputra. Our main aim is to showcase the North East for tourism in international level.
