Easley council members suggest fines to boost mask mandate Mike Ellis, Greenville News © File/Staff Easley City Hall Easley City Council members said Monday they would consider adding fines to the city s mask ordinance next month. The city introduced a mask requirement in December, it made masks mandatory at most businesses in the city limits but did not include any penalties for violations. Council member Terry Moore said he has spent time at local big box stores he did not identify which ones and saw as much as 40 percent of people not wearing masks as well as workers wearing masks improperly.
