The County of Grande Prairie invites County residents to take part in a free scavenger hunt between May 14 and 24 to celebrate Public Works Week.
“Public works play an immense role in our communities,” said Dale Van Volkingburgh, Director of Public Works. “Our department plans, builds, maintains and operates water, sewer, waste removal systems, waste and recycle management programs, roads, streets bridges, traffic signage, and other essential infrastructure.”
“The scavenger hunt is a great, interactive way for everyone to recognize and learn more about what we do to make the County a safer and more sustainable place to live, work and play,” Van Volkingburgh added.
