The idea of "early college" is an educational format where high school students dual enroll for college credits during their high school years. It is not only a money-saving idea, but statistics show it has significant success in raising college graduation rates. WEMU's Cathy Shafran talks with local early college leader Dave Dugger, who says the program is so successful, he’s seeing college graduation rates for students of color some 700 times higher than the norm.
