Horner told The Sun that police warned her about the threat but that she decided to go ahead with the performance at Earls Court Exhibition Centre because she was “not going to be bullied”.

Police warned Geri Halliwell nail-bomb maniac wanted to shoot her

Police warned Geri Halliwell that the London nail bomb maniac wanted to shoot her dead while she made her debut solo performance at the Brit awards. Homophobe David Copeland wanted to kill the Spice Girl during her 2000 performance because she was friends with gay artists - including the late George Michael. Scotland Yard officers went to Halliwell s house to make their warning clear - but she performed solo single Bag It Up at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre stage in London regardless. Copeland caused three nail bomb explosions in the space of 13 days in April 1999 - the final of which went off gay pub the Admiral Duncan.
