An Arkansas man with a first-degree murder charge hanging over his head for 10 years, in a 40-year-old case, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to a lesser charge of voluntary manslaughter.
A trail of red, green, yellow and orange streamed along rural roads Saturday as 40 tractors and their drivers took part in the Living History Antique Equipment Association of Franklin Grove’s tractor drive.
There were two storm cells in the first round. The first brought driving rain and pea-sized hail. The lead edge of the storm darkened skies to the hue of late dusk. The storm lasted about 10 minutes.
