Anna O brien of Winchester Radio WINCHESTER Radio had two reasons to celebrate at this year s National Hospital Radio Awards. The volunteer-led station won the Recognising Innovation category, whilst chairman Anna O Brien topped the Best Female Presenter competition. The charity also made the top ten shortlist in three other categories: Best Speech Package or Special Event; Best Male Presenter (George Kousseff); and Station of the Year. Anna O’Brien said: “The team have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic, with no break in service, giving their time and skills for free to support the patients, the hospital, and the wider Winchester community, including those in need and who are vulnerable; or those experiencing social isolation, loneliness or illness.
