Ireland s PTSB was
cleared by regulators on Friday to resume dividend payments for
the first time since 2008, a decision the majority state-owned
bank said was a landmark moment that would enhance.
The country’s third biggest lender, Permament TSB, has confirmed that the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) will remove a so-called “dividend blocker” that prohibited the bank from paying dividends to shareholders irrespective of financial performance.
