Police lights JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) Sheriff’s deputies in Cass County made two arrests early Sunday morning after items were reported stolen from a barn. Sheriff Richard J. Behnke says the theft happened in the 28000 block of Dunning St. at around 2:00 a.m. in Jefferson Township. Police officers in Edwardsburg noticed a suspicious van towing a golf cart, with a person on it, at M-62 near Oil City Rd. The vehicle took off and led a chase, causing the golf cart to detach and crash. The van eventually crashed into a trailer at Eagle Lake Estates in Ontwa Township.
