New tattoo shop opening in downtown Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. â A new tattoo shop is opening up in downtown Grand Rapids, giving those looking to get some fresh ink a new place to go.
Colliers West Michigan helped Eagle Eye Tattoo find its space at 343 Division Ave. S., according to a news release Monday.
Co-owners Dena and Jay Bouwknegt had been looking for a storefront in downtown Grand Rapids. Colliers represented both the landlord â Dwelling Place â and Eagle Eye in the deal.
âOnce we saw the inside of the space, we knew it was perfect for us,â Dena said. âIt has a smaller, more intimate vibe and itâs exactly what we were looking for. Itâs pretty perfect.â
New Tattoo Shop Coming to Downtown Grand Rapids
Eagle Eye Tattoo will open soon at 343 Division Avenue South.
According to Fox 17, owners and Dena Bouwknegt and Jay Kush had been searching for a space downtown and the building s owner Dwelling Place, had been looking for the right business to help activate the area.
Commercial real estate brokers Colliers West Michigan connected the two.
Jay is a local tattoo artist who s worked in shops in West Michigan for the last 20 years. You can check out his work here.
Dena tells Fox 17 about the space for Eagle Eye Tattoo, “Once we saw the inside of the space, we knew it was perfect for us. It has a smaller, more intimate vibe and it’s exactly what we were looking for. It’s pretty perfect.”
