A Great Falls-area man faces multiple felonies and two misdemeanors for an alleged altercation outside of a Black Eagle bar last weekend.
Zachary Martin Schmitt, 19, has been charged with two counts of assault with a weapon and another for criminal endangerment, all felonies, for allegedly knocking another man unconscious with a hammer in an altercation outside of Black Eagle Country Club early Saturday morning before brandishing a loaded semiautomatic handgun in front of a group of people.
Schmitt also faces misdemeanor charges for disorderly conduct and a minor in possession of alcohol, as he is under 21 and registered a 0.078 on a preliminary breath test by authorities.
