South Korean Ambassador Lee Jang-keun interacted with UN agencies, local administration and NGOs on how to improve collaborations to resolve the Rohingya refugee crisis during his four-day visit to Cox s Bazar.
He was in Cox s Bazar from February 14 to 17 to visit the refugee and host community programmes assisted by Korea through international agencies, said a statement of the Korean embassy in Dhaka today.
The Republic of Korea has been contributing four to five million US dollars annually to the international organisations based in Bangladesh for assisting humanitarian efforts to address the Rohingya refugee crisis.
