Hello again. Welcome to the town hall portion of our afternoon and weekend. Were excited to be able to be joined by a handful of folks who are truly making a difference right here in this very building on the values that animate all of us, faith and Freedom Coalition and all of our members. Thank you so much. As folks are kind of working their way through security out there, were going to go ahead and get started. Obviously things are still moving fast and furious here in the building as theyre kind of wrapping up business for the legislative break that theyre about to take. You know, this is a really neat opportunity because our first visitor for this afternoon has quite a reputation and a resume, if you will, on these issues in the u. S. House of representatives. Senator Marsha Blackburn has immediately become a stalwart in the senate on all of these issues. In this legislative session she was given an important position on the Senate Judiciary committee, which we were thrilled with

I want to start tonights show, by asking you at home, to take a look at where you are in this very minute. Where are you sitting . What are you doing . Are you sitting on the couch tucked under a blanket, maybe you will doze off there before you can make it to bed. Look, honestly, we have all been there. Now imagine that in the comfort of that moment, you wake up in the early hours of the morning to a group of armed men barging into your home. You are confused, you are scared. What are you going to do . How are you going to react . For 22yearold amir locke, a black man in minneapolis, this was not some imaginative scenario. No it was not. Early wednesday morning, Police Killed lock well executing a No Knock Warrant. And until we get into the circumstances surrounding his death, i want to take a step back for a moment. I want to tell you a little bit about his life. Because once again, we have to learn about another black man in america, not because of how he lived, or what he wanted to
