The legal battle over the estate of auto dealership magnate Ray Brandt has reached a fevered pitch, with Brandt s widow accusing Archbishop Rummel High School s principal of defamation.
Jessica Brandt sued Marc Milano on Tuesday, asserting that the principal of the Metairie Catholic school falsely accused her of having siphoned money from her deceased husband s estate and claimed ownership interest in the auto dealerships against Ray Brandtâs wishes.

A few weeks after he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, Brandt named Milano to oversee a trust heâd set up in 2015 to receive his entire estate under the terms of his will. That estate, valued at more than $300 million, includes the Ray Brandt Auto Group, dealerships and collision centers across Louisiana and Mississippi.
