Pet Supplies Plus adds DMCHS pet adoption center

Pet Supplies Plus, 3200 E. Agency St., has added a cat adoption center to their store in partnership with Des Moines County Humane Society, DMCHS has announced.
According to the animal shelter, about 4-6 DMCHS cats and kittens will be on hand at all times at the store for people to visit.
People who choose to adopt a store cat will need to call the DMCHS for an adoption appointment, and they can pick up their new pet once they have received their adoption paperwork from shelter staff.
