Mascom kicks off 3-For-3 community upliftment project Jun 9, 2021
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, Mascom Wireless is pleased to announce the flagship project from this year, dubbed the Mascom 3 FOR 3. The Mascom 3-for-3 campaign is a movement that encourages Mascom Employees to devote 3 hours of their time, on the 12th of June, to causes and initiatives that serve their community. The intention is for Mascom employees to volunteer in initiatives of their choice, to give back to, and have a positive impact on their communities.
The naming of this initiative pays homage to the 3 Chiefs, namely Khama III of the Bangwato, Sebele I of the Bakwena, and Bathoen I of the Bangwaketse; who, through their visionary leadership, helped to secure Botswana’s future. The pillars that guide Mascom 3-for-3 are Gratitude, Service, Community and Movement, with an aim to inspire the citizenry of the country to dedicate some time and efforts to create

Mascom Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dzene Makhwade-Seboni last week hosted a Christmas party for the kiddies at Baylor Children’s Clinical Centre of Excellence in Gaborone.
The annual event is part of Mascom’s proud Christmas CSI tradition, in which the company celebrates the festive season with children from vulnerable backgrounds.
The initiative dates back to 1999, in which time the mobile giant’s have covered the length and breadth of the land.
Speaking at the event, Seboni explained that despite the constraints of Covid-19, Mascom were desperate to fulfill their long-standing commitment of bring festive smiles to the faces of children.
