Dyna-Mac said BW is a repeat customer and that, including this contract win, Dyna-Mac’s order book stands at S$368 million as at 24 May 2021, with deliveries up to 2023. The group is currently evaluating the need to expand its yard capacities and is increasing its local and overseas fabrication capacity to fulfill potential demand in FPSO topside modules, LNG and hydrogen/ammonia production modules, said the Singapore company.
Upstream has reported recently that Dyna-Mac was tipped to land a topsides-related contract for the Barossa project due to its past experience with BW on the Catcher FPSO project in the UK which BW is using as a template for Barossa.
