EL DORADO, February 13, 2024 The El Dorado Film Festival (EDFF) returned from a three-year hiatus to much fanfare at the South Arkansas Arts Center (SAAC). Running Feb. 8-11th, the event showcased local and national features and short films alongside workshops and parties. Filmmakers drove from around Arkansas and Louisiana while some flew in from the East and West Coasts.
Ava Duvernay’s Origin and Matthew Heineman’s American Symphony were among the top winners at the Virginia Film Festival, the four-day Charlottesville event that ran from Oct. 25-29.
