Willow Springs, MO. - A Birch Tree man has been charged with intoxicated driving following a crash in Butler County, Missouri. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred on Highway 51 near Fagus at 1:30 a.m. this morning. A 2006 Chevy Silverado driven by Dylan Frazier, age 22 of Birch Tree, was northbound when it traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a utility pole. Frazier suffered minor injuries in the crash. The driver was charged with Driving while Intoxicated and Failure to Drive on the Right Half of the Roadway before being released for medical treatment. Frazier was then transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
A registered sex offender was arrested last week for failing to comply with his sex offender requirements by not notifying authorities of an address change. Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Detectives Capt. Gene Caison said Steven Earl Taylor, 34, reported to law enforcement he was living at 2483 Jolly Roger Drive in Supply as part of his requirements as a registered sex offender. But after weeks of routine sex offender checks by sheriff’s office patrol deputies, Taylor could not be found at the Jolly Roger home since Feb. 7.
