Theyve picked up more than five and a half feet of snow over the last 17 days. Right now as yet another storm blankets parts of new england, that snow bound city has run out of places to put it all. Busting snow removal budgets, snarling transit and stretching the patients of a lot of moms and dads as school kids are now looking at their eighth snow day of the year. This morning, a live look outside. Were looking at mostly cloudy skies this morning. The clouds will really start to build in over the next couple of hours, before that snow does arrive later. Temperatures right now, they are frigid, 12 in philadelphia 6 degrees in mt. Pocono. 8 degrees in lancaster. 2 below zero at the Atlantic City airport. 3 in wildwood and 12 degrees in wilmington. You factor in the breeze and it does feel colder than it actually is. It feels like 9 below zero in mt. Pocono, 2 in allentown. It feels like zero in lancaster and 1 below zero in wilmington. This cold weather setting the stage for whats to come later on this afternoon, we have moisture, back to the south and west. We have cold air in place. We will see snow as we head throughout the afternoon hours. The radar showing us where that storm system is now. Its a pretty big one as you look back to the west. It was based on a new analysis which indicates the plane did not fly as far south as previously thought.
