The Giants just added six players to their roster through the NFL Draft, and all told that’ll cost them around $3 million in cap space. So that should leave the team with about $2 million in space to spare. That’s not a whole lot, especially since it’s important to go into the season with some room in the event of injuries to key players.
They can still create more space through restructures, cuts or trades, which they’d likely need to do if they wind up adding anymore free agents between now and the start of training camp.
