It’s that time of year when the NFL Draft previews start popping up, and so far two Kansas State players have had the attention of sportswriters.
In today’s pile of stories, Andrew Parish of Last Word on Sports has Briley Moore pegged for a sixth-round selection, while Mia O’Brien of WTLV in Jacksonville is dead certain that if he’s still around in the seventh round the Jaguars will snap him up. As for Wyatt Hubert, Ian Cummings at Pro Football Network thinks he might have some value to certain teams in the seventh round, but isn’t sure he’ll be drafted.

The Kansas State women almost pulled off the upset last night at the Big 12 Championship. Ahead by seven with less than two minutes on the clock, the Wildcats found their lead evaporate on a 10-point run by West Virginia, and a coast-to-coast buzzer beater gave the ‘Eers the game 58-56.
The outcome notwithstanding, this was a team effort for Kansas State. Rachel Ranke drained four three-pointers, including one late in the game that put the Wildcats in the lead. Christiana Carr scored 12 points in the game, a team-high 20th game in double figures. Ayoka Lee tallied the 29th double-double of her career, with 11 points and 10 rebounds on the day.
