WADESBORO For this year’s Fashion Revue and Creative Talent show, youth participants submitted videos of themselves modeling garments to be judges and for their chance to win 4-H scholarships.
Two judges, Fannie Clyburn and Jesse Blakeney, judged the 4-H Fashion Revue and Creative Talent program on May 19 in Clyburn’s sewing shop.
“It is truly amazing what children can do these days,” Blakeney said in a press release.
In a non-pandemic world, parents, friends and relatives attend the fashion and talent show at the Anson Cooperative Extension Center. Children model the garments they made. But this year, participants modeled their garments on video.

The Riverside Rebels track and field squad made the trip up to North Big Horn County to compete at the Lovell Invitational Saturday. Despite the tough competition, the Rebels put up some strong performances at the meet.
The Lady Rebels placed ninth in the 10-team field in Lovell with a team score of 12 points. The Rebel boys placed 10th with 14 points. Powell won both the girls and boys divisions in Lovell with the girls scoring 188 points and the boys scoring 116.33 points.
