JOPLIN The Missouri Southern Lions used a fast start Saturday to post a 37-14 win against the Lincoln Blue Tigers in MIAA play at Fred G. Hughes Stadium.
It was not the way the Lincoln Blue Tigers wanted their Homecoming game to go Saturday, as the Central Oklahoma Bronchos ran away with a 45-3 victory in MIAA action at Dwight T. Reed Stadium.
The Blue Tigers had started fast in their previous two home games, scoring touchdowns on their first drive in both, but that was not the case against the Bronchos.
