As was foretold, a whole lot of snow fell on Tuesday evening. In Eastern Iowa, recorded snow totals ranged from as low as 4 inches to as heavy as a foot of snow in some areas. According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday will be comparatively much calmer, with an eventual partly sunny sky and a high of 24 degrees. Watch for some blowing snow, however, as a 10 to 15 mph wind could gust as high as 25 mph.
