She is fun, helpful, and can put up with her sister! Emma is good, but I like Kitty better. But gotta love Noah x Emma! Also, I totally ship Kitty x Mickey. I was so mad when Emma sabotaged them! These sisters are fantastic, it reminds me of my own sisters and I, but younger. Kitty is funny, sweet, fun, lovable, and I love her matchmaking skills! In the promo of ridonculous race, it shows Emma and kitty, Geoff and brody, Sanders and MacArthur, and crimson and ennui in Africa. They could be the final four.

Wayne and Terri Embry continue to impact culture for future generations

A few hours ahead of a Philadelphia road game in March 1965, Wayne Embry was with his Cincinnati Royals teammate Oscar Robertson in their hotel room when the phone rang. It was Embry’s wife, Theresa (Terri), on the other end of the line, calling from their family home in Cincinnati, Ohio. “Wayne, Yvonne and I are going to Selma to march,” she told Embry. Shock rushed through Embry’s body. Earlier that month, hundreds of civil rights demonstrators made the 54-mile march from Selma, Ala., to the state capital of Montgomery for the right of African-American citizens to vote. That march became known as Bloody Sunday for the violence that Alabama state troopers, brandishing billy clubs and firing tear gas, inflicted upon demonstrators. Embry’s shock quickly became concern.

American Routes Shortcuts: Wayne Baquet, Sr and Arkesha Baquet of Li l Dizzy s Cafe

5:40 Wayne Baquet, Sr.: Our first restaurant was open in the 1940s. It was a place called Paul Gross Chicken Coop. It was called that because they actually served fried chicken. Not too many people did that back then because they didn’t have deep fryers. Actually the person that inspired that was Ada Baquet Gross, Paul Gross’s wife and my great aunt. And it was in Tremé, on the corner of Bienville and Roman. That was our first restaurant. My dad worked there, I even worked there as a teenager. Then my dad went off on his own, opened up Eddie’s Restaurant. Kind of famous: 2119 Law Street in the Seventh Ward. And then from there, I broke off and opened up several different restaurants including one around the corner called Eddie Baquet’s and probably eight or nine other restaurants that I’ve had over the past nearly fifty years of doing this. And Wayne and Arkesha, they still have it going here at Li’l Dizzy’s for the future.
