Beans and cornbread have been a post-NASA rocket launch tradition for decades. With two recent Artemis launch attempts waived off and two interfering storms, though, the space agency has lost a lot of good beans.
NASA and the Space Force are in discussions about whether to delay the third try at a launch, which would be the first in NASA’s Artemis campaign to eventually return astronauts to the lunar surface.
The two-hour launch window opens at 8:33 a.m. ET, but delays are starting to pile up and a lot of things have to go right for the historic Artemis I mission to get underway.
