The COVID-19 pandemic couldn’t stop the Jaycees from providing its annual holiday dinner for Clinton County’s seniors. This year the event was held as a drive-thru between the Jaycee’s Hall and the Heisey Museum. Dozens of cars lined up as volunteers delivered a delicious meal right to their windows. According to member DuWayne Kunes, the Jaycees gave away 325 meals about 100 more than usual this year. “I had enough food to make up to 400 meals,” Kunes said. The remaining turkey and vegetables for the meal was made into turkey and vegetable soup which will be donated to the Salvation Army, he said. The Jaycees also helped two families ensure they had a Christmas this year. Kunes said the organization spent $750 $250 for each child for two families: A single father and his three children and a single mother and her two children. Kunes said they met the families at Walmart in Mill Hall so the parents could pick ou
