Norwalk Public Library’s “One Book One Community” Zoom discussion group will be open to the public 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday May 10, according to a press release. The topic will be Marcelo Hernandez Castillo’s well-reviewed memoir
Children of the Land, in which Mexican-born Castillo, who entered the U.S. with his parents at age five, recalls his often difficult journey from undocumented status to earning a Master’s degree at University of Michigan.

Norwalk’s historical Hour Press Building will be featured in an episode of “American Pickers” on The History Channel at 9 p.m. Monday Jan. 25, according to a press release. Said to be more than a century old, the edifice provides fertile territory for the series’ stars, two partners who travel the U.S. in search of forgotten antiques.
