A memorial now marks the spot where the 29yearold was shot and killed in front of her apartment complex in east oaklands mill mont neighborhood shes intelligent, smart. She will find out. Reporter but on saturday around 8 00 p. M. Friends say misty and her husband heard the alarms go off in his car parked just outside their apartment complex. They went outside to check. They were shot multiple times. There were ten rounds from one gun and what sounded like a second gun of a different caliber. Fired some rounds as well. Reporter this neighbor asked us not to identify her. She said she and others came out of their homes and saw misty on the ground. Everybody was in so much shock that it was just very numb of a feeling. Reporter misty was five months pregnant and died at the scene. Her husband was wounded, but expected to survive. Witnesses say the
pedestrians. police say it appears he may have been impaired. they are looking into that. just beyond the two officers, you see over there, is a burgundy prius. and that s the car he was driving. our understanding is that he was coming up on 23rd and making a turn onto mission when he struck the bus, and then went onto the sidewalk, and struck two pedestrians as they were getting off the bus. there s a lot of people curious about what s going on, and there s a lot of police here as well. it looks like they re going to be here for a while, and again, two men seriously injured, life- threatening injuries at the hospital undergoing surgery, julie. that s what we have at this point. this is all happening at 23rd and mission. obviously, amber, you knew how hard it is to get there. it looks like a big area is cordoned off. reporter: there are streets sectioned off, but honestly, it wasn t that difficult to get up here, because police were able to escort us in to give us a bette
