Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 1 is about to begin with all its tiers and rewards. Fans have been anticipating the integration of the free-to-play battle royale and newest Call of Duty instalment since November, and this has resulted in lots of people asking: what time does Black Ops Cold War Season 1 start? The gameplay trailer for the upcoming integration has shown off Rebirth Island which was leaked months ago. This doesn’t mean the end of Verdansk as the Nuke event we’ve all been anticipating for many moons will reportedly happen in March, but Rebirth Island should still be exciting for Warzone players.
ORIGINAL: A series of Call of Duty updates are being released this week, with the first arriving soon in Black Ops: Cold War.
As confirmed by Activision last week, two patches are going live, one for Black Ops and another for Call of Duty Warzone. A lot of new content is coming to both games this month, with Rebirth Island, new Zombies modes and fresh weapons for Cold War and Warzone.
The biggest change will be the integration of both games and Modern Warfare into one experience path, affecting how ranks work. That’s without mentioning the new Battle Pass and cosmetic items that will be coming to the game with the start of Black Ops Cold War Season 1.

Perhaps the biggest surprise of the night was of a big return for Perfect Dark, now in development at the recently-founded Microsoft studio The Initiative. We saw an early concept video for the game, which looks to be set in the near future, and got confirmation that agent Jo Dark would be back for the first time in over decade:
