The Dusty Barn Distillery will host Whiskey and Whiskers with the Posey County Humane Society on Saturday, May 15, from noon – 5 p.m. Meet your newest family member while enjoying a special themed drink and pick up some of Doc’s Casked Corn or other Dusty Barn spirit. If you adopt a pet, you’ll get a celebratory drink on the house. The distillery is for guests 21 and over, so there are limited areas for children. Dusty Barn Distillery – 6861 Carson School Road, Mount Vernon, Ind. – 812-454-0135 Honey + Moon Coffee Co. is now offering craft beer (interesting ones too, such as The Devil’s Trumpet Chocolate Taco Imperial Oatmeal Stout and Hi-Wire Blackberry Cobbler Sour Smoothie Wheat Ale) as well as wine slushies for summer. Non-alcoholic beers are available as well. Other new menu additions are toasted breakfast burritos and artisanal toast with berries and granola or avocado and egg alongside Honey+Moon’s light breakfast and lunch items and signature bubble waffles.
