Last weekend, both chambers of the U.S. Congress approved a new coronavirus relief bill, which calls for $900 billion dollars in emergency funding.
As of December 26, 2020, the bipartisan emergency stimulus package had not been signed into law by the Trump Administration. Though the relief bill has been supported by Democrats and Republicans on Capitol Hill, the legislation, in itself, has been deemed by many Washington D.C. insiders as highly controversial.
