The High Court of Andhra Pradesh has held that an execution petition for an arbitration award can only lie before the designated Commercial Courts and no other Court viz., Civil/District Court can.
The Supreme Court Collegium has stuck to its August 3 decision to recommend the transfer two Andhra Pradesh High Court judges, and rejected their individual requests of reconsideration of transfer proposal.
