Portsmouth City Council is seeking up to 12 firms to join its £100m primary-contractor framework.
The four-year framework will serve as the primary route for the council to procure building maintenance on its portfolio of nearly 15,000 social housing properties and 900 corporate assets. The framework has a total potential value of £100m, but it is anticipated the council may procure up to £60m of projects based upon the agreed maintenance budget for 2021/22 and predicted budgets for future years.
Individual projects are valued from below £100,000 to up to £1.5m, however the council states that the majority of individual projects will be worth between £100,000 and £250,000. There is however no upper cap to the value of individual works allowing Portsmouth to use the framework for higher-value or complex projects if necessary.
