SCHODACK, N.Y. — Democratic candidate Gwen Wright launched her campaign for Rensselaer County executive Saturday morning from her home in Schodack. Addressing more than 200 supporters from across the county via Zoom, Wright described her run as one to lead with integrity and govern with passion and experience. Wright, who currently sits on the boards of Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood (UHPP) and the Center for Women and Government in Civil Society, detailed her background and how she believes her experience will translate into success as county executive.
