A fundraising appeal has been launched by the brother of a man who was left “physically, emotionally and mentally scarred” when a corrosive liquid was thrown in his face, causing him to lose an eye.
A father-of-two was jailed for 10 years for "a cowardly and unprovoked" chemical attack on a man who was previously in a long-term relationship with his partner and who subsequently lost an eye because of the severe caustic soda burn injuries suffered to his face.
