Staff Report
ORRVILLE In honor of his nearly 40 years of delivering babies, caring for newborns and mentoring new providers at Aultman Orrville Hospital, the recently retired Dr. Charles Milligan now has a labor and delivery room dedicated to his legacy, according to a news release from Aultman Orrville.
The Aultman Orrville Hospital medical staff selected the dedication of a room in the Family Birthing Center to honor Milligan, who has been a member of the medical staff at Wayne General, Dunlap Memorial, Dunlap Community and Aultman Orrville hospitals since 1981 39 years of service.
As a family practitioner, Milligan delivered many babies at the hospital, spent countless hours mentoring new providers and was instrumental in supporting the hospital’s newborn care coverage, at times single-handedly supporting this program.
