"May thy knife chip and shatter." Oh no - it's official from Warner Bros. They're delaying Dune: Part Two until 2024 due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes in Hollywood. I hoped this wouldn't happen. Denis Villeneuve's highly anticipated epic sci-fi sequel was originally set to open in theaters worldwide on November 1st, 2023
The Warner Bros movie studio will delay the planned November release of a big-budget "Dune" sequel until March, because its stars cannot promote the movie during the Hollywood actors strike. "Dune: Part Two" will now debut on March 15, a date that had been reserved for Warner Bros film "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire." The monster movie was shifted to April 12.
"Dune: Part 2" second trailer shows the Atreides face intense pressure as they rule Arrakis, the only source of the valuable commodity called Spice, which enables interstellar travel.
