Our Reporter Dimapur, Aug. 27 (EMN): Study Space, a centre for studying or working quietly and undisturbed was opened on Saturday at Duncan Bosti, opposite Cornerstone School in Dimapur. The proprietor of Study Space, Tonikali Awomi, told Eastern Mirror that the idea behind opening the study space was to provide and facilitate a quiet space for students, aspirants and book lovers. Awomi, who was an aspirant herself, said the idea was conceived after her attempt to prepare for examinations but could not do so because of various obligations. Considering this situation, she decided to provide a space of study, work and to read. ‘When we can imitate others in fashion, food to name a few, why not take the good example and initiatives of others and give it a try,’ she conveyed. Our Reporter Dimapur, Aug. 26 (EMN): Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Friday said that as part of 40:20 seat-sharing deal, the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) will get three seats and BJP two out of five constituencies in Dimapur. He said this during the inauguration of NDPP office for Dimapur region at Duncan Bosti. Speaking at the programme, Rio reiterated that the NDPP-BJP alliance is strong and that the NDPP had given the Rajya Sabha seat to its ally uncontested. Maintaining that there is no confusion on seat-sharing, he said out of five seats in Dimapur, two — Dimapur I and Gasphani I – will go to BJP and the remaining three — Dimapur II, Dimapur III and Gasphani II – to NDPP.
