Published May 14, 2021, 10:15 AM The iconic kneeling carabaos of Pulilan, Bulacan would still bow to tradition and perform their world-renowned gesture of kneeling before a virtual audience and not the usual crowd of hundreds of believers as the town celebrates the Kneeling Carabao Festival on May 14-15. Pulileneous peacefully and silently celebrate the yearly Kneeling Carabao Festival online with photos of arts, painting work, and animated carabaos displayed on major roads of the town. Edna Estarez-Villena Razon of Sta. Peregrina said there would be no live parade and kneeling of carabaos, only a short but meaningful program to be held in front of the San Isidro Labrador Church where carabaos bearing different kinds of fruits and vegetables were displayed.
