Attorney General Jason Miyares is urging citizens in Northern Virginia to participate in a public hearing on January 9 to voice their opposition to proposed increases in toll rates on the Dulles Greenway. The toll road operator, Toll Road Investors Partnership II (TRIP II), is seeking approval from the State Corporation Commission (SCC) for toll increases of more than $2.00. Currently, Virginians pay $5.80 during peak traffic hours and $5.25 during off-peak hours for a standard 2-axle vehicle, and TRIP II wants to raise that to $8.10 during peak hours and $6.40 during.
